Founded in 2025, the Somalia Future Organization (SFO) is grassroots, youth-led nonprofit organization born out of a collective determination of a united coalition of young Somali visionaries committed to charting a new course for Somalia.

SFO was established to address the critical need for a platform that harnesses the nation’s most abundant asset its youth to invest in their potential and direct their energy and talents into purposeful and structured positive action that drive sustainable national development.

Our very foundation is a testament to our core belief, that the future of Somalia must be built by its people, for its people, preserving its unique identity, and fostering innovation from the ground up, with the younger generation leading the charge.

Our work is fundamentally holistic, addressing the interconnected pillars of a thriving society. We operate at the crucial intersection of peace building, education, economic empowerment, and civic engagement, understanding that progress in one area is intrinsically linked to progress in all.
